2009 HOLIDAY CRAFT SHOW AND BAKE SALE
Our St. Jude Crafters shared the holiday spirit with their colorful display of items and baked goods at the Annual Holiday Craft Show, Saturday and Sunday, November 14th and 15th. The Center hall was transformed into a Christmas wonderland with Christmas lights and trees; tables and walls were covered with a variety of crafts for all tastes. Shoppers stocked up on the perfect holiday gifts. This year our kitchen menu included breakfast and lunch items. The egg, bacon and cheese croissants were a big hit!!! The menu was prepared and served by our Dennis Rohan, Mimi Bertsch, and volunteers. Sr. Connie and her baking crew sold out of their delectable desserts in a matter of hours!
The Schott Crafters spent the last year preparing for this event, and their handiwork is evidence of their creative skills, artistic taste and kitchen magic. Many thanks go to our entire Staff for months of preparation, and to our Volunteers who make our community a special place. The proceeds are generously donated by the crafting group to Schott Communities to support programs and services.
